Bol and Daisy: New Chairs and Tables by Zanotta
Zanotta presents Bol, designed by Zaven, and Daisy, designed by Mist-o, two everyday objects that adapt to different styles and rooms. They represent contemporary living with a dynamic, polyhedral and eclectic style.
Zaven designers explain: "In our design language, we love to use elementary geometric forms and volumes that interact and combine to create complex forms. The Bol table is a precise and impressive example.” Zaven started from the drawing of the Bol table, with its circular shape and central leg, and developed the concept of modularity to create a complete collection that includes two circular tables and two oval shaped tables.
A cylinder, minus a small perimeter portion, makes it possible to obtain a leg with an essential shape, aesthetically recognizable and functional for the collection. The stackable Daisy chair is a versatile element, suitable for different contexts such as for a home, office or restaurant. Light, comfortable and not very big, it has a metal structure with the padded seat and backrest covered in completely removable fabric or leather upholstery.
