New in 2023 from Porro: Re-interpretation and Innovation

All of the new products from Porro for 2023 seem to concentrate on defining the thin structures, movement, transparency, and light coloured woods used to make these systems and give a sense of freedom to the rooms they are placed in. The collections offer functional, practical furniture that will become timeless classics. At the same time, bold objects that are out of the ordinary have been introduced, thus creating a mix of distinctive notes that form new types of music. The rediscovery of timeless design pieces by Mendini, still unreleased, with three surprising new cabinets or Storage Isola by Piero Lissoni.

There is also Romby, a small armchair that evolved from the famous Romby chair created in 2020 by GamFratesi. The conical base leaves space for four central wooden legs, which create a visual effect of a suspended volume that symbolizes a welcoming attitude and functionality.

This new chair becomes versatile in the home office and in contract situations. The armrests create generous forms that convey a pleasant sensation of softness and naturalness, without sacrificing the lightness of the original model.
