The Evocative Miles and Symbioosa Lamps by Lasvit

Miles is a collection designed for Lasvit by Yabu Pushelberg to evoke many parallels between making music and the work of Lasvit’s glassmakers.

The lamp is inspired by the constant balance that must be maintained when pushing the glass production to the limit, that fine line that exists between innovation and the material’s physical and technical limitations. This lamp is bold. It uses the same type of balance required to play a trumpet solo, or sing a jazz song. 

On the other hand, the Symbioosa collection by LLEV is a tribute to the mycelium, the primordial mushroom root structure that gave us plants and other important natural elements. While light gives energy to the entire natural kingdom, mycelium grow underground silently and without the sun. The Symbioosa floor lamp and table lamp allow the observer to enjoy archaic diffused light.
