Broken Mirror® : New from the Guframini Family

The brand Gufram is proud to announce that they have added something new to the Guframini family. It’s a special collection of miniatures that celebrates the brand’s most recognizable icons.

The latest piece to be miniaturized is Broken Mirror®. The original version launched in 2017 was designed by Alex Mustonen and Daniel Arsham, the minds behind the Studio Snarkitecture in New York, which is one of the most interesting radical contemporary firms in the USA. In addition to being the very first mirror in the Gufram catalogue, this small object does not fail to fulfil its functional purpose while also becoming a work of art and exceeding the boundaries of correspondence between form and function.

Snarkitecture played around ironically with the topic of ambiguity. Focusing on the concept of “soft/not soft”, they produced an imitation cement made of polyurethane foam, Gufram’s favourite material. The new mini Broken Mirror® is available in two colours: Black or White in scale 1:8. The Guframini line also includes: Cactus®, Bocca®, Pratone®, and GOD.
