Arco K Floor Lamp by Flos - Limited Edition

Flos has launched a limited edition with a very small number of pieces to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the legendary Arco lamp. This new lamp was carefully crafted by the artisans at Flos, and it invites the observer to take a closer look at all stages of the creative process.

The original, iconic Arco was designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1962, and now its limited edition model, called Arco K, is a reinterpretation of that famous floor lamp that revolutionised interior design.

Thanks to innovative technologies that did not exist sixty years ago, Arco K highlights its unique structure and draws attention along its elegant arch to its innovative crystal base. The distinctive features of the Arco lamp were much appreciated, and they remain unchanged but more visible because of transparencies.

In fact, the lamp has a direct-light stand with a lead-free crystal base, a satin-finished stainless steel telescopic rod and a height-adjustable, swivelling reflector made of pressed, polished and Zapon-lacquered aluminium.
