Plant Chandelier Moooi

The Plant Chandelier pendant lamp, created by the Dutch design team Kranen/Gille for the Moooi brand, reimagines the shape of a traditional chandelier while adding a poetic flourish inspired by the natural world. The sunny steel branches of the Plant Chandelier evoke the intricate and varied form of real tree branches, creating an illusion of beauty.

The lamp has eight replaceable LED light bulbs that may be placed in eight separate glass diffusers. The width of the Plant Chandelier is 90 cm.

Karl Blossfeldt's photographs of natural shapes have had a big impact on the work of Kranen and Gille, who have always been driven by the desire to "find a little poetry among the tools of industry." Their works are beautiful pieces of art.
