Studio Toer's Flock of Light pendant light for the Moooi brand appears like a swarm of lovely fireflies on a warm summer night. Its open layout is the result of asymmetrical, freeform curves.
The three various Flock of Light models come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, making them suitable for lighting a wide variety of interior spaces.
Each of the three models contains LED light sources, with the total number increasing from 11 to 21 to 31. The casings are made up of small brass cups that have diffusers that are partially see-through, which results in a particularly gentle lighting effect. In this case, bronze was used for the cables.
The Dutch collective Studio Toer is known for its bold experimental tendencies, and Flock of Light is a prime example.
