Description
The Dutch designer Bertjan Pot created the Moooi Random Light II pendant light with a sphere made of a dense and unexpected fiberglass and epoxy resin mesh. While the white form of the figure is strikingly brilliant, the black version produces a wonderful play of light and shadow.
Due to the handcrafted nature of the spherical surface of Random Light II, no two lamps are ever the same. The unpredictability of the net's weave is alluded to by the word "random," which means "random" in English.
The lamp's incandescent bulb is housed within a steel shade that hangs from a chain.
The sizes of Random Light II range from small to huge, and each one adds a touch of ethereal delicacy to its surroundings.
