UP 50 B&B Italia

The UP5_6 armchair, which won the 27th Compasso d’Oro award ADI 2022, is the star of the Up series, created by Gaetano Pesce. The Up 50 version celebrates the 50th anniversary of the creation of this series and it is characterised by a striped fabric upholstery that combines petrol blue and beige.

The design of the Up armchair is a reference to the votive statues of prehistoric culture. The armchair has sinuous lines that recall the idea of a mother's womb. The feeling of relaxation and comfort given by the design of the armchair is combined with the idea of an obstacle, represented by a spherical ottoman.

The comfortable shapes invite you to enjoy intimacy and relaxation and the upholstery makes the generous padding and the enveloping lines of the Up collection even more evident.
