The sleek, sinuous, and enveloping contours are drawn in with meticulous care and, thanks to the delicate processing of the embroidery thread, which is given attention to detail in high-quality leather, gives the pouf a sophisticated look that is distinctive to its design. The poplar plywood frame provides structural support for the polyurethane foam cushioning, ensuring both durability and comfort.
The Bongo pouf is a synthesis of the extensive design study carried out by the designer, who found that the most common and easily accessible objects had the greatest potential for practical use and comfort in the home.
