The PK52 and PK52A desks by Carl Hansen & Søn are creations by Poul Kjærholm, developed upon the request of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. Leveraging his expertise as a cabinetmaker, the designer innovatively combined mastery in steel and wood in the table's structure. Metal struts elegantly separate the two materials, creating a play of contrasts that gives the desk a dynamic and lightweight appearance.
