The Antropus Pro armchair by Cassina is the result of a collaboration with designer Marco Zanuso, originally conceived in the late 1940s.

This piece of furniture was created for the set design of the comedy "La Famiglia Antropus" at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan. Zanuso used the innovative material of foam rubber to cover the entire structure, giving the object a pioneering aesthetic. The modern version of the armchair, made of molded expanded polyurethane foam, ensures comfort and functionality. The sinuous shapes of the side panels frame the backrest and seat, offering appealing ergonomics.
