Trap Cattelan Italia

The Trap bookcase, created by Giorgio Cattelan for the brand Cattelan Italia, is made of steel and it has to be fixed to a wall. Its aesthetic attracts the eye thanks to the empty spaces that characterise the vertical panel and let you see the wall at its back through quadrangles with an irregular shape. These shapes match those which characterise the shelves. When the bookcase is full, the quadrangles are concealed and the whole can appear as a single pillar made of books.

The painting of Trap, available in the embossed bronze and embossed titanium versions, can give an additional touch of character to the bookcase if chosen in contrast with the wall at its back.
