The item, together with all items from the Risom Collection, was meant to be easy to produce and was originally made with extremely simple materials.

Today’s outdoor version is made with particularly flexible and resistant belts in modern materials. They are available in 6 colours. The base structure is in teak wood.

Designer Jens Risom, born in Denmark, moved to the United States in 1938 and became Hans Knoll’s friend and collaborator.
