Construction Lamp Floor Moooi

Description

Joost Van Beistwijk, a Dutch designer, came up with the idea for the Construction floor lamp, which was produced by Moooi.

The designer's love of old-school construction games ultimately resulted in the shape of the product taking on a resemblance to a conventional utility pole, contributing to its high degree of originality.

The Construction lamp is made of cast aluminium under pressure and is powder coated. It comes in two colours, black and white, as well as two sizes, medium and large, with varying heights and widths. The white version has slats made of wood in its construction.

Four incandescent bulbs are enclosed in a cylindrical upper section of the lamp, which also serves to disperse the light in all directions.
