Grifoni is a family-owned business since 1957 and a world leader in its sector.
To this day, experienced artisans make unique pieces by hand combining modern techniques with traditional craftsmanship.
The collections are compared to a “trip to Florence”, a journey through the knowledge and experience of expert woodcarvers, sculptors and artists:
Sculpture, a typical detail of furniture from the 1500s/1600s in which wood was combined with metal to create timeless pieces.
Weaving, a rural technique used to make accessories out of straw, which gained popularity in the 1950s. When applied correctly, this technique creates a sense of movement and warmth in all pieces of the collection.
Curves, rounded corpulent furnishings inspired by the Tuscan hills are in light coloured wood, while the contrasting linear pieces are finished in oxidized silver leaf.
Bas-relief, reproduced on wood surfaces, making classical styles into abstract ones.
Decorations, collections with clean essential lines where part of the accessory is finely decorated with floral patterns.
Grifoni wants to showcase rich Italian tradition and identity linked to Tuscany on an international level.
