Architect and designer Piero Lissoni presents the 272 Mex-Hi sofa he created for Cassina in all its modular glory.
The 272 Mex-Hi is offered as a raised-seat version of the Mex Cube model. The designs have been created to be incorporated into any kind of living setting, thanks to the numerous possible combinations that the sofa can take. These shapes have a linear and essential imprint.
The dense padding on the cushions stands in for the ease and comfort that this furniture set aspires to express, and the tubular steel metal frame keeps them at a safe distance from the ground.
The sofa is constructed from a modular system of elements of varying sizes that allow for linear and angular combinations as well as island formation; these elements are made of completely recycled fiber and designed and manufactured by Cassina LAB.
The seat upholstery is offered in removable fabric.
