Skygarden Flos

Marcel Wanders designed the Sky garden pendant lamp for Flos.

This classic piece of art is the pinnacle of form and function, bringing to life a design that is both sophisticated and original through the use of cutting-edge materials and thoughtful construction. The cast plaster hemisphere is painted and adorned on the inside with white, while the outside can be finished in rust, black, or white to allow for maximum light diffusion. There is a polycarbonate mounting ring and a cable that suspend the diffuser element from above.

Galvanized steel is used in the construction of the ceiling-mounting system.

The designers of the suspension light brought to life a fixture that is in tune with its surroundings and has excellent ergonomics.
