Description

The Toio floor lamp, which was developed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, is the outcome of a thorough and sophisticated design technique. This lamp is considered an icon of enduring design.

There is a genuine aesthetic eclecticism at play in the Toio lamp, which develops from the intersection of ergonomics and design and also places an emphasis on the subjective and relational value of the product.

The diffusion of indirect light occurs through the use of a reflector that, in all aspects, represents the light of a car and is nicely enhanced by the supporting structure in steel profiles available in various colours.

A stem body with a hexagonal section is finished in nickel-plated brass, keeping the shapes and volumes simple. The telescopic stem adds a sensation of motion to the lamp, and it also serves a practical purpose by allowing the user to adjust the lamp's height.

The light's intensity can be adjusted by a dimmer switch located on the power cord.
