Crystal Carpet Moooi

Ingimar Einarsson was the one who created Moooi's Crystal Carpet. It’s a great way to add a dramatic, mineral-looking accent to a modern space. The print, which takes its cue from the forms found in hydroxyapatite, creates the impression of infinite depth by the superimposition of several geometric shapes and the use of an almost infinite palette. The amazing image of an infinitely reflected prism is captured in Crystal Carpet. Recent advances in printing technology have allowed for such a design.

The length and width of this plush carpet are 228 cm and 287 cm, respectively.

Ingimar Einarsson is an Icelandic visual artist, who works out of the capital city of Reykjavik. The use of photography as well as other forms of media is prominent throughout his work of art.
