The inspiration for the Plié Plissé Light pendant lamp comes from Moooi designer Lukas Bazle's natural motion studies.

The lampshade, a unique example of kinetic design, is cylindrical in shape and has an adjustable framework that allows one to vary the intensity and direction of light with a simple motion. The lamp may be adjusted to produce a gentle, diffused glow in one setting or a more focused beam of light that is aimed downward and is perfect for reading.

There is an LED bulb inside the Plié Plissé Light. It has a diameter of 60 cm and has a structure that appears to be pleated. This structure is constructed of polymer. Coated steel is used to create the pendant.
